FUJI Xerox has become the first company in the office equipment industry to win the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Minister's (METI) Award, 11 years running.
The company won the award for eight models of office-use digital colour multifunction devices. The prize was awarded for four models from the ApeosPort-IV series and another four from the DocuCentre-IV series
FUJI Xerox first won the prize with its digital colour multifunction devices in the DocuColor 1250 series in 1999. The company said the most recent products make its technologies energy efficient when copying, faxing and printing thanks to their inclusion of a newly developed Induction Heating (IH) fuser and Emulsion Aggregate-Eco toner.
