A new printing press has been installed which will allow a mail distribution company to explore new business opportunities, it has been revealed.
Buckinghamshire-based Packpost Solutions will be able to capitalise on its £4 million turnover with the installation of a Xerox Nuvera press.
Liam Crane, group business development manager, told Printweek that the Nuvera investment was "essential to facilitate diversification into new markets".
He said: "We knew we could cut costs, increase volume and grow the business by investing in a new, future-proofed platform. We're delighted with the results and are now poised to seize the vast range of new opportunities that the Xerox Nuvera presents to us."
The 600dpi resolution printer will also enable the 70 members of staff to handle the production of silk flyers for a new client. The 120 A4 page per minute printer was supplied to the firm by Xeretec.
