Itec Distribution has introduced a new range of digital monochrome multifunction products, promising improved performance as well as cost efficiency.
The Itec B423 will be made available followed by the Itec B363, B283 and B223 versions.
Together with the benefits of monochrome printing, the latest MFP line-up also offers high-speed colour scanning functionality as a standard feature.
The colour-scanning feature could be especially beneficial for organisations that intend to arrange document management by capturing colour originals as they are.
With the help of the feature, firms will be able to store digital copies of paper documents and easily share and re-use them. Meanwhile, a searchable PDF function will allow users to search for and copy text from digital documents.
Holger Groenert, manager of product marketing at Itec Distribution, said: "Companies that introduce a smooth process for digitising documents can uncover opportunities for document re-use and smooth information sharing, which in turn enhances their operational efficiency.
"With colour scanning, companies can be confident that digital copies of documents look exactly the same as the paper versions. Users are also better able to remember and recognise important information from colour documents than they can from monochrome documents."
