Maven Underwriters computer policy is designed to cover the risks associated with computers, providing wider protections than that afforded by a standard property insurance product.
Our policy includes accidental loss of, or damage to, property including:
- All computer equipment
- Software programmes
- Computer records
- Loss of information
- Increased cost of working cover following loss or damage
Providing cover for computer equipment at any premises, or in transit, in EU and EFTA countries, together with worldwide cover for portable equipment and data carrying materials, our key policy features include:
- Full theft cover
- No physical security requirements or intruder alarm conditions
- Full breakdown cover without a requirement for a maintenance agreement on key equipment
- ‘Negligent’ or ‘residual’ breakdown for all other equipment (i.e. breakdown not covered under a standard maintenance agreement)
- One overall flexible limit of loss, which applies to one or all covers
- Increased cost of working cover;
- Following failure or fluctuation of the public supply of electricity (not restricted perils)
- Following loss or damage
- Following the failure of telecommunication systems
- Increased cost of working cover and recompilation of data cover including virus and hacking (subject to pre-determined limits)
- Optional terrorism cover
- Flexible pricing for varying deductibles or 3 year ‘long term agreements’
